The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) recently announced significant upgrades and improvements to the APR PCR Certification Program.

APR recently launched the new and improved APR Design® Guide for Plastics Recyclability Digital Tool to commemorate its 30th anniversary. 

The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) and Canada’s Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT) are announcing a partnership to improve North American plastics recycling systems through pilot and research projects.

Based on APR’s definition of recyclable, they are now included in the “RENDERS THE PACKAGE NON-RECYCLABLE” category in the APRDesign® Guide for Plastics Recyclability leading to APR’s formal position to state they are not recyclable.
