APR Design Recognition through the Critical Guidance Path provides third-party recognition for design features that have achieved lab-scale testing and review, as specified in the APR Design® Guide. If you’re ready to apply, you can submit a pre-approval application.
What are the requirements to apply for recognition through the Critical Guidance Path?
The innovation must be compatible with the clear, rigid PET; EBM HDPE; rigid PP; or flexible PE recycling stream as determined by the APR Critical Guidance Protocol.
What is the application process?
Recognition through the Critical Guidance Path generally takes 2-3 months to complete, and consists of a pre-approval, third-party lab testing, a webinar presentation to membership, and a Technical Panel Review.
