Join APR at Pack Expo for Plastic Package Design Guidance to Meet 2025 Circularity Commitments
The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), the Voice of Plastics Recycling®, will hold "Industry Meets" educational sessions on recyclable package design during PACK EXPO, October 23-26 in Chicago, Illinois. Attend one of the 5 sessions to learn how to create packaging that is Circular by Design™.
"The APR Design® Guide for Plastics Recyclability is the leading resource to design packaging that is compatible with recycling infrastructure, and is referenced by organizations across the globe," said Steve Alexander, APR President and CEO. "The APR Design® Guide provides the necessary tools required for companies to successfully meet circularity commitment deadlines."
Each session will include an overview of the APR Design® Guide, real-world case studies from brands and their suppliers, and detail how to identify suppliers with verified recyclable solutions. Labels and new label design guidance will be highlighted. Each 90-minute session will feature a panel discussion followed by Q&A and networking.
"The APR team has created a great program to support recyclable package design and promote sustainable solutions," said Curt Cozart, APR's COO, who will lead the sessions. "This venue provides a unique opportunity to provide key decision makers with an understanding of the requirements for circular package design, the APR Design® Guide, APR Recognition Programs, and companies offering circular products."
