Remanufacturing:

Applications for Recycled Bags, Wraps, and Films

Plastic Bags, Wraps, and Films are primarily made from high density polyethylene (HDPE #4) and low density polyethylene (LDPE #4), which can be used for a variety of applications. As detailed in The Recycling Journey of Bags,Wraps,& Films, once these items are collected and baled, they are sold to plastic recyclers to process into new products or pellets. The LDPE resin pellets produced are then sold to manufacturers to make the types of items listed below. They may be combined with other materials and plastics to create new products.
