Dow has introduced its first recycled resin for shrink film applications in North America.

October 30, 2020 - Plastics in Packaging APR in the News Dow adds PCR-rich resin for shrink film

The LDPE resin includes 70 per cent recycled material, which gives brand owners and converters the opportunity to create collation shrink film with up to 40 per cent post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. The resin is designed specifically for retail and logistics shrink film applications.

The recycled material in the XUS60030.01* developmental PCR-rich resin includes film-based PCR certified by the US-based Association of Plastic Recyclers.
